Today we take more images than have ever been taken before. Technology has moved so fast and offered so many more opportunities…but where do the images go? If an image is taken and never archived or printed does it still exist…and what about 5 or 10, or even 50 years down the track?
As a fourth generation photographer I understand the cultural and historical importance of images. The development of this new site took me back to my early days as a photographer, and it was an enjoyable journey going through 20 years of work and re-discovering images again. It’s something I would encourage everyone to do, and to ensure that you have printed and archived images.
So the question stands, are your precious memories safe?
